CNY Newborn Photography - Raegan

I was so excited when Johanna first messaged me to let me know she was due for baby #2. I absolutely love when clients return for their second child. Her oldest, Brynley, was a newborn from earlier in my photography business. She is now beautiful, big sister! It’s so fun to watch their little family grow.

Here is the latest addition, Miss Raegan. <3

CNY Maternity Photography - Burke

We originally planned on doing this session at a tree farm. But a friend of Stephanie's generously offered to let us use her families property right in Camden NY and I am so glad we did! That barn. The mossy trees. That BUMP! <3 Stephanie is absolutely glowing. I am so excited to meet their little one in January.

CNY Newborn Photography - Brinley

Jennifer and James were such a pleasure to work with. From the moment they stepped out of their vehicle, we engaged in great conversation. I soon learned that their brand new baby girl was a miracle. They have been trying for years to have another baby. After fertility treatments, losses, and leaving it up to fate. They were blessed with this gorgeous baby girl.

Fresh 48 - Ava

I was contacted a few months ago by Heather. She told me she had seen a previous birth / fresh 48 session I had done and that it was exactly what she was looking for. A few conversations later and she decided to hire me to document her upcoming arrival. We kept in touch throughout the remainder of her pregnancy. Heather would text me after appointments to let me know how things were progressing.

38 weeks - feeling good and braxton hick contractions were starting.

39 weeks - getting very excited!

40 weeks - Feeling great but nothing yet.

41 weeks - Induction scheduled!

Turns out baby was quite comfortable. Though I’m sure mom and dad wouldn’t have minded being introduced to their little one a bit sooner, the scheduled induction was handy for me. I was traveling about 5 hours and being able to plan a date ahead of time was nice. My husband was even able to accompany me during the trip (in other words he was my chauffeur.. driving in unfamiliar areas isn’t really my thing :p) I got to Paoli hospital a couple of hours before the birth. The gender was a unknown. I couldn’t wait to find out and meet the THREE of them! I sat in the waiting room watching my phone intently. Finally a text from Nathan! Baby was born! I headed up to room 225.

I am honored to have been the person chosen to capture such a special day. This little one is so loved, and has already brought an amazing amount much joy into this family. Heather and Nathan have been trying to conceive for years, and they both agreed that this beauty was so worth the wait! <3

Meeting Milo

I received a text from Nicole around 8:30 Sunday morning. She was letting me know that her water had broke but they weren't headed to the hospital quite yet. It wasn't even 20 mins later she said the contractions were getting really strong, they were headed to the hospital and she didn't think it would be long.

Well... it wasn't!

I got to the hospital at about 10:15 to find that the baby had arrived minutes before I got there! I was disappointed to have missed the birth. But so blessed to have been a part of this amazing day and thankful to be able to still capture these memories for them.

So.. Meet Milo. And his wonderful family <3
